Choose a layout

Every pass uses one of three layouts, picked by the template you start from: a plain background (best for simple gift cards and coupons), a wide hero image (event tickets, anything with real photography), or a small thumbnail image (membership cards, ID-style passes).

Apple's strip image

A hero image becomes Apple Wallet's "strip" - the banner under the header. Apple always overlays its primaryFields text on top of a strip, so the pass title renders in the row below it instead, never on top of your photo.
