Do my customers need an app?+
No. Passes are saved directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Can I update a pass after someone adds it?+
Yes. Pass information can be updated after distribution.
Can I add QR codes or barcodes?+
Yes. Add QR codes and supported barcode formats directly to your passes.
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. WalletPassBuilder is designed to let you create passes visually.
What kinds of passes can I create?+
Loyalty cards, membership cards, coupons and offers, gift cards, event tickets, and business cards - six ready-to-use templates to start from.
Can I personalize a pass for every customer?+
Yes. Add @variables like @name or @balance to any field on the pass, and each customer gets their own version with those values filled in - all from one design.
Can I bulk-import my customer list to create personalized passes?+
Yes. Upload a CSV to create a personalized pass for everyone on your list at once, or add rows one at a time.
Can a customer's pass be created automatically from another tool?+
Yes. Point a signup form, checkout, or booking tool at your pass's webhook URL to create or update a personalized pass automatically as people sign up.
Can I send notifications to customers who saved my pass?+
Yes. Send a custom notification any time, or schedule one for later - it shows up right on the customer's lock screen.
Can a pass alert customers when they're near my store?+
On Apple Wallet, yes - set a location or Bluetooth beacon and the pass surfaces on the lock screen automatically when a customer is nearby. This isn't currently available on Google Wallet.
Can I automate actions based on events from other tools?+
Yes. Automations let you build a trigger, condition, and action workflow on a visual canvas - start from a custom event (or a preset for Jotform, Typeform, Stripe, Square, WooCommerce, or Calendly), then send a notification, create or update a pass, call a webhook, or wait before continuing.
Can I trigger my own systems when something happens in WalletPassBuilder?+
Yes. The Call Webhook automation action sends a signed HTTP request to your own endpoint, with an HMAC signature you can verify on your end.
Can developers use an API?+
Yes. Use the REST API when you need to create, update, or manage passes, notifications, and automations programmatically.
Can I see how my passes are performing?+
Yes. Every pass has a stats page showing views, saves, and removals over time, with CSV export for deeper analysis.
Can I invite my team?+
Yes. Invite teammates with a role - viewer, editor, or admin - so they can help build and manage passes alongside you.
Can I choose where my data is stored?+
Yes. Each workspace picks US or EU data residency when it's created, and every pass and customer record in that workspace stays there.
Is WalletPassBuilder secure and compliant?+
