Connect Square

Square's own webhooks - Customers or Payments - post their own payload shape, not the shape our Events API expects, so a relay reshapes whichever one you're using.

Set up the relay

Add a relay that listens for the Square event you care about: customer.created for new customers, or payment.updated (filtered to status COMPLETED) for payments. Have it forward that as an event named square.customer.created or square.payment.completed respectively, with a data object built from the fields you need, to POST /v1/events with your API key.

Using the preset

Choose Square from the trigger picker - it pre-fills the event name to square.customer.created by default. If you're wiring up payments instead, rename the event name in the Edit event panel to square.payment.completed so it matches your relay.
