Advanced settings: limit sharing, access codes, and expiry

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These options are in the builder under Settings → Advanced settings.

Restrict a pass to be saved once

Turn on Restrict this pass to only be saved once and each share link can be added to a wallet a single time. Anyone opening it afterward is told the pass has already been saved. This helps prevent repeated redemptions from one link. On a personalized (dynamic) pass, each row's link works once.

Access code

Add an Access Code (up to 10 characters) and customers must enter it before they can add the pass. Clear the field and save to remove the protection.

Scheduled expiry

Scheduled Pass Expiry marks the pass expired at the date and time you choose - it moves to the expired section in Apple Wallet and shows as expired in Google Wallet. Leave it empty for no expiry.

Top-right field (Apple)

Top Right Label and Top Right Value add a field to the top-right header of Apple Wallet passes.
