Apple Wallet and Google Wallet tickets for WP Event Manager

Give every WP Event Manager registration and ticket its own wallet pass. Its QR code is the ticket code that WP Event Manager's check-in app already scans, and check-ins show on the attendee's phone.

New accounts get free pass credits to start. Tested with WP Event Manager 3.4, Registrations 1.6, Sell Tickets 1.9 and WooCommerce 11.2 in October 2026.

Stays up to date

When a WP Event Manager ticket changes, so does the pass

Registered and paid

Each ticket's pass is issued once its order is paid, so a bank transfer waits until the money arrives.

Checked in

Scan the ticket with the check-in app and the pass shows Checked in.

Cancelled or refunded

The status follows the WooCommerce order: Cancelled or Refunded.

Event changed

Change the date or location and the passes update. Cancel the event and they show Event cancelled.

Compared

WP Event Manager wallet ticket or emailed ticket?

Sell Tickets already emails tickets. A wallet pass carries the same ticket code, so your check-in app scans either one.

WP Event Manager questions

Do my customers need to install an app?
No. The pass opens in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which they already have on their phone. On a computer, the button opens a page with a QR code to scan with their phone.
Which WP Event Manager add-ons do I need?
The Registrations add-on is required, because each pass belongs to a registration. With Sell Tickets and WooCommerce, every ticket bought gets its own pass.
Will WP Event Manager's check-in app scan the pass?
Yes. The QR code is WP Event Manager's own ticket code, so the app treats it like the ticket it issued.
Is this the same as Events Manager?
No. WP Event Manager is the plugin from wp-eventmanager.com. Events Manager is a different plugin, and it has its own integration.
When is the pass issued?
Once the WooCommerce order is paid. A bank transfer or cash order gets its pass when you mark it paid.
What does it cost?
The plugin is free. It uses pass credits from your WalletPassBuilder account: 1 per pass created or saved to a wallet, whichever total is higher. Updating passes doesn't use credits, and new accounts get free pass credits to start.
Is my attendee's contact information on the pass?
No. Email addresses and phone numbers are never sent to WalletPassBuilder, because anyone who sees the phone can see a wallet pass.
What if a ticket doesn't get a pass?
Check that WP Event Manager is turned on under the plugin's Integrations tab, then look in Activity. A failed entry says why, and Retry sends it again. The plugin also checks every 15 minutes for anything that failed.
