Apple Wallet and Google Wallet tickets for Sugar Calendar

Give every Sugar Calendar ticket its own wallet pass, with its ticket code as a QR code. Attendees save it from the order receipt, and it updates on their phone when the event changes.

New accounts get free pass credits to start. Tested with Sugar Calendar Lite 3.16 in October 2026.

Stays up to date

When a Sugar Calendar event changes, so do the tickets

Bought or claimed

Each ticket gets its own pass with its own code, so tickets in one order can be shared and scanned separately.

Event moved

Change the event's date, time or location and every ticket's pass updates, whichever phone it's on.

Refunded

The status on the pass changes to Refunded.

Ticket removed

Move a single ticket to the trash and its pass changes to Cancelled within 15 minutes.

Compared

Sugar Calendar wallet ticket or emailed ticket?

Sugar Calendar already emails tickets. A wallet pass keeps the same ticket on the attendee's phone, ready at the door, and you can send both.

Who it's for

Who Sugar Calendar wallet tickets are for

Music venues

Keep the queue moving with a code on the lock screen instead of a search through email.

Wallet passes for events

Community events

Offer free tickets and still give every attendee a pass with their own code.

Groups buying together

An order for four is four passes, so each person can carry their own ticket.

Events that move

When a date or room changes, everyone who saved a pass sees the new one.

Sugar Calendar questions

Do my customers need to install an app?
No. The pass opens in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which they already have on their phone. On a computer, the button opens a page with a QR code to scan with their phone.
Does it work with Sugar Calendar Lite?
Yes. We tested it with Lite's built-in tickets from WordPress.org, using a free ticket, from checkout through to the buttons on the receipt.
Does a group order get one pass or several?
Several. Each ticket gets its own pass and its own code, so people in the same order can arrive separately.
What does it cost?
The plugin is free. It uses pass credits from your WalletPassBuilder account: 1 per pass created or saved to a wallet, whichever total is higher. Updating passes doesn't use credits, and new accounts get free pass credits to start.
Do tickets I've already sold get a pass?
Passes start with tickets sold once the integration is on.
Is my attendee's contact information on the pass?
No. Email addresses are never sent to WalletPassBuilder, because anyone who sees the phone can see a wallet pass.
What if a ticket doesn't get a pass?
Check that Sugar Calendar is turned on under the plugin's Integrations tab, then look in Activity. A failed entry says why, and Retry sends it again. The plugin also checks every 15 minutes for anything that failed.
