Use your own domain for pass links
Last updated: October 31, 2026
By default, your pass links start with gowalletpass.com. With a custom domain they use your own subdomain instead, like https://pass.yourbrand.com/p/.... You add one DNS record, and we handle the HTTPS certificate. It works wherever your domain is registered, and you don't need a Cloudflare account.
Connect your domain
Go to Settings > Custom Domain.
Enter a subdomain of a domain you own that isn't already in use, like pass.yourbrand.com or wallet.yourbrand.com. Your main domain (yourbrand.com) can't be used.
Click Connect domain. The page then shows the exact DNS record to add.
At your DNS provider, add that record. It's a CNAME: the name is the first part of your subdomain (for example pass), and the target is customers.gowalletpass.com.
Wait for the status to change to Connected. This usually takes a few minutes, and occasionally a few hours while DNS spreads. The page checks for you, or you can click Check now.
What changes
New and existing pass links use your domain as soon as it's connected, and links you already shared on gowalletpass.com keep working. Passes already saved in someone's wallet aren't affected.
Your domain only serves pass links. Loyalty sign-up pages and your dashboard stay on walletpassbuilder.com.
Each workspace has its own domain, used for that workspace's pass links. To manage another workspace's domain, switch workspaces from the header first.
If you remove your domain, your links go back to gowalletpass.com.
If it doesn't connect
Check that the record is a CNAME with exactly the name and target shown, with no extra domain added to the end. Some DNS providers add it for you.
Check that the name doesn't already have another record on it (A, AAAA or a different CNAME).
If your domain has CAA records, they must allow the certificate authorities Cloudflare uses (letsencrypt.org, digicert.com, pki.goog and ssl.com). You can also remove them.
Still stuck after a few hours? Contact us and include your domain.
